Role Description
Yolk is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Insolvency Solicitor to join a dynamic and supportive team in Reading. They seek a motivated and proactive individual with a minimum of 1 year of qualification experience.

This is what you will be doing:
As an Insolvency Solicitor, you will


Manage and progress your own caseload with the supervision of the Partner.
Handle a diverse range of insolvency and corporate recovery matters, primarily for Insolvency Practitioners but also for lenders and private individuals.
Engage in contentious and non-contentious insolvency cases (corporate and personal).
Provide supervisory assistance to junior team members.
Attend and contribute to business development events.
Work effectively under time-sensitive conditions.

What you will need for this job as an Insolvency Solicitor:

You will need working experience as an insolvency solicitor or in a similar role to excel in this role. Ideally, you will have experience with most of the following:

Prior experience in Insolvency & Corporate Recovery work.
Advocacy experience is preferable.
Strong negotiating skills.
Ability to work independently when necessary.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Effective team player.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and possess excellent keyboard skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
A client following is desirable but not essential.
