A fantastic Leading FMCG Business based in Thirsk are looking for a skilled and experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their growing maintenance team. This role is working Monday to Friday, on a 4-shift system, earlies, days, afters, and nights and is paying 52k with shift allowance, plus overtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical (low voltage and control wiring) Mechanical and pneumatic maintenance of food processing and utility equipment
  • Input to the upkeep of a Maintenance Plan of Work for the plant (CMMS)
  • Undertake planned and preventative maintenance activities
  • Attending and resolving breakdowns
  • Contribute towards system/process improvements
  • Take the lead on the journey towards a more reliability engineering-based approach to maintenance
  • Administer the purchasing and stock control of engineering parts/ spares etc
  • Implement current Health and Safety procedures and assist in further development and improvement of maintenance and engineering procedures
