As the Assistant Director of Maths, you will share responsibility with the Director of Maths for the development of teaching and learning and the standards achieved in Maths across the Collegiate. This will require effective professional leadership of a team of staff to ensure that all students enjoy a rich learning experience and make or exceed expected progress.Who are we looking for?

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Assistant Director of Maths who will work collaboratively with the Director of Maths to raise standards and expectations at all levels throughout the Maths Department. The person specification identifies the experience, skills and attributes we are seeking, but in short we are looking for:

·        an outstanding classroom practitioner with the ability to develop teaching and learning within the Maths Department and across the Collegiate

·        a confident role model with the ability to motivate and influence

·        an individual with strategic and emotional intelligence

·        an ambitious leader.
