Singing Teacher

The Music Department of Queenswood School is looking to appoint an accomplished, well qualified and experienced Singing Teacher to join our staff of 14 visiting peripatetic musicians.

The Music Department is at the heart of school life and is housed in its own building which includes a small recital hall and some 16 practice rooms. The successful candidate could potentially be offered 6 hours of teaching per week.

The successful candidate will be expected to prepare candidates for in-person music exams, concerts, GCSE coursework and competitions as appropriate and to record pupil progress effectively. The successful candidate needs to be a competent keyboard player and experienced in a wide range of genres, classical, pop and music theatre for example.
