About the Role
The Information Governance Technical Analyst II is an integral part of Latham's Technology & Information Services team. This role will be responsible for providing high-quality support for the wider Information Governance ("IG") and Technology team, while ensuring the goals and objectives of the team are met, as well as providing accurate and timely completion of assignments and responses to inquiries and ensuring that all tasks and duties are completed within the firm's set guidelines and policies. This role will be located in either our Downtown Los Angeles or Manchester office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
Performing lifecycle activities for file and user permissions within a predominant Microsoft environment (Entra, SharePoint Online, NTFS, ADFS)Executing the various access reviews and certifications based upon the firm's requirements from both regulatory and client demandsDocumenting policies and procedures that are specific to IG's scope of responsibilitiesMaintaining accurate notes and tracking documentation for data collection projectsDeveloping collaborative, interactive relationships with functional leads, supervisors, managers, and others within the Technology department to identify appropriate tasks to be transitioned and supported by the IG Team; working with these leads to design standard operating procedures to effectively perform these tasks

Display strong understanding of identity and access management principles and access control systems in both on-prem and cloud environmentsDemonstrate knowledge of applications typically used in a global technology infrastructure environment, such as Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory, Exchange and Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint Online, and other applications that comprise the Team's workloadPossess knowledge of Identity and Access Management ("IAM")
And have:
High school diploma or equivalent, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field and Microsoft and other relevant certifications preferredExperience working with cloud, server and storage, active directory, networking, and/or other Technology Infrastructure fields, with past experience working in a law firm preferred
