We currently have an exciting role for a Senior Designer to join our SBG Brand and Creative team, reporting into the Lead Designer & Creative. This is a really rare opportunity to take ownership and be a true brand guardian for your area, developing its visual style across all platforms as we continue to grow, collaborating across the organization to really drive up standards of digital creativity.

The role will be initially a 6 month FTC but we are growing rapidly and there is a realistic opportunity for this to turn into a permanent position.

Responsibilities of the role...

  • Work closely with other Designers and creatives working on BAU/ 8-Week work and 16 Week work. You may also have the opportunity to support 32-Week campaigns

  • Generate concepts and present them with confidence to Lead creative/ Lead Designer or stakeholders for 16-Week campaigns. You will work with the producers/ motion graphics team and artworkers to maintain a high quality of output

  • Take briefs and deliver high level creative solutions for various parts of the business

  • As well as owning 16-Week campaigns you will be required to work on 8-Week campaigns and templating for rollout/ preparing for Artwork

  • Mentor Designers and look for opportunities to help them progress. You will manage any freelance resource working on your campaigns

  • Rollout assets and also prepare design files into templates for Artworkers during the artwork prep stage of a campaign and continue to work with Artworkers to ensure a high quality and consistency of work output.

  • Proven track record as a Senior Designer, leading multiple concepts from scratch

  • An advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator & Adobe Suite

  • A strong eye for detail and a master at layout and typography

  • Strong stakeholder management and the ability to work alongside brief owners to really drive creative solutions

  • Be hands on in idea creation, passionate about ideas, words and design

  • Experience with motion graphics and knowledge of Cinema 4D, After Effects would be a plus

  • The ability to generate scamps and storyboards if required.
