We have teamed up with a growing charitable company, based in Whiteley, who are on the lookout for an Assistant Accountant to join their team. In this role, you will lead and support a team of three finance professionals, ensuring efficient management of supplier queries and financial processes.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:Providing leadership and management to a team of three finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive environmentCompleting monthly ledger evaluations to review performanceIdentifying overdue debts and agreeing further actionEnsuring payments of all supplier invoices are accurate, in line with supplier terms and on timeManaging internal escalation of any queries and ensuring they are dealt with and resolved effectivelyResolution of any payment and invoicing issues with suppliersAccurate and timely processing, approval and payment of expenses
What you will need:Previous experience in a similar role, such as Accounts Supervisor / Accounting Team Leader / Senior Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant Team Leader / Assistant Accountant / Accounts Team Manager / Finance ManagerStrong people management skills and experienceTo be a confident communicator, able to liaise with a range of stakeholdersA collaborative approach to teamwork
