I am delighted to be working with a lovely client based in the East Midlands who are currently recruiting for an Information Governance Lawyer to join a their legal services team.

The role can offer an initial contract of 3 months with likely extension and will be based with a Local Authority in the East Midlands region. This will be an amazing chance for someone looking to gain experience in dealing with a range of information governance and data protection matters within the public sector.

The duties of the Information Governance Lawyer will include;

  • Support with policy developments
  • Reviewing data
  • Evaluate risks and solutions
  • Assist with transformation strategies
  • Dealing with Subject Access requests
  • Advise information management board on governance statistics

This role offers full-time hours and remote working, although some part-time hours may also be considered.
