About our school

Snow Hill School is a small specialist provision which provides education for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs who require a smaller, more specialised intervention than can be provided in a mainstream school.

We are seeking an ECT Maths Teacher to join our school, support and guidance will be provided as a part of the position. During your two-year induction, you will be provided with a mentor who will be on-site. Assisting you to develop your skills and practice, supporting you with meeting the teachers’ standards within our own in-house training platform.

Overview of the role of ECT Maths Teacher:

· Plan teaching to achieve progression in pupils’ learning with support and guidance

· Help to engage students with both reading and writing

· Provide clear structures for lessons maintaining pace, motivation and challenge for all pupils

· Establish and maintain a safe environment and purposeful working atmosphere which supports learning and in which pupils feel secure and confident

We would love to hear from people who:

· Are passionate champions of students with SEND

· Have at least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment
