Private Client Tax Assistant Manager - West End, London - Top 10 Firm

Are you a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager seeking to join an entrepreneurial and forward-thinking West End accounting firm? Are you keen to support a Private Client Tax Partner with managing a prestigious portfolio of clients including HNWIs and non-doms? If so, this role could be perfect for you.

Our client is a rapidly growing Top 10 firm, with aims to reach a 1000 headcount in the near future. On an acquisition streak, the firm is constantly branching out into new client sectors, widening their offering and becoming a household name. Despite their size, they maintain a mid-tier feel, with small, dedicated specialist teams, as well as a strong link between managers and their teams.

Private Client Tax Assistant Manager responsibilities will include:

Working with directors and managers on technical assignments.

Managing day to day client portfolio including billing and monitoring work in progress.

Liaising with HMRC in relation to client matters and dealing with enquiries from HMRC.

To liaise proactively with clients on advisory matters.

To meet new clients with the appropriate partner/director and be a main point of contact with those clients going forward

To review personal tax returns prepared by more junior members of staff / prepare complex compliance cases.

As a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager you will:

Be ACA qualified or CTA qualified

Have a minimum of four years private client tax experience

Demonstrate an aptitude towards undertaking advisory assignments

Be comfortable managing staff and communicating directly with client
