An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic History and Politics specialist to join our highly successful History & Politics department.  As well as impressive outcomes at GCSE, History and Politics are equally popular and successful at A Level, with four Sixth Form classes in each subject planned for September 2024.  

You must have a passion for your subject and the skills to engage students across the age and ability range.  The position would suit either an Early Career Teacher or a more experienced colleague. Although the position is advertised for January 2025, we will consider an earlier start date.  

The successful candidate will be welcomed into our vibrant Humanities faculty that includes the subjects of History, Politics, Philosophy, Religion & Ethics (PRE) and PSHE.  Although part of a faculty, we are committed to timetabling staff to teach within their specialism(s) so our students benefit from subject experts.

Parmiter’s coordinates CPD for the Watford Partnership for Teacher Training and offers a robust induction programme. We can offer the successful candidate: 

  • July 1st start date for ECTs with a comprehensive programme to support the Early Career Framework and bespoke CPD to suit your career goals. 
  • Focus on Staff Well-Being with an online GP service, Employee Assistance Programme,  complimentary use of the on-site Fitness Suite and an on-site subsidised electric vehicle charging point.
