We're expanding in our Irvine services
Our fabulous team are on the lookout for active and compassionate individuals with the ability to motivate and inspire to join them as Support Practitioners.
We are currently able to offer full time, part time and bank Support Practitioner contracts.
You don't need previous experience in care to join our team as a Support Practitioner as we recruit based on values and transferable skills. Our award-winning Learning and Development team provide full training along with the opportunity for you to complete your SVQ Level 2 in-house
However, for these roles we do require candidates who have a full driving licence and access to their own vehicles. Your driving licence must also allow you to drive manual vehicles. You must be willing to take out business insurance as you will be compensated 45p per mile during your shift.
The Role:
As a Support Practitioner, you will assist individuals living in their own homes with disabilities and/or additional support needs in all aspects of their daily lives, including support with medication and finances, housework, meal preparation, cooking and personal care.
The people we support have a variety of different hobbies which we'll be looking to you to take an active interest in, from going out for a tasty bite or catching the latest movie to a gym session or group activity, the list is endless.
To be part of our team, we'll need you to:
- Have an empathetic and caring nature.
- Good observation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence in using computers.
- Be able to work well in a team environment and on your own.
- Good organisational skills.
