  • Acting as the School’s Receptionist, welcoming pupils and their families, prospective parents and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Responsibility for locking doors, shutting down reception at the end of the day.
  • Receiving contractors and visitors and ensuring they are signed in appropriately and have the right level of security badge and other relevant information for their visit e.g. fire regulations, safeguarding etc.
  • Operate the School’s main switchboard, answering the telephone in a professional manner and providing required information or guidance, directing them to the correct point of contact or taking messages as appropriate.
  • Ensure accuracy of messages or any other information being relayed to staff.
  • Complete the afternoon registration process ensuring accuracy of registration using information provided by form tutors and finalise lists to prepare for “Off Games”, the Prep Register and “off school” lists disseminating as appropriate.
  • Ensure all absentees are followed up as dictated by the relevant policy and procedure.
