Graduate Teaching Assistant required for a Secondary School in Hillingdon

A well-regarded Secondary School in Hillingdon is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role will involve providing academic support across your subject specialism, with the opportunity to assist in core subjects such as English, Maths, or Science. It’s an ideal position for a graduate looking to gain valuable classroom experience before pursuing a teaching career or further education.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
Providing in-class support to students across a range of subjects, including your own specialism and core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science.Working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis, helping students to develop their understanding and overcome challenges in their learning.Collaborating with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and offer targeted interventions where necessary.Assisting in the preparation of learning materials and helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.Supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students, helping them to achieve their full potential.The ideal candidate will have:
A degree in any subject, with a passion for education and supporting young people.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to support across various subjects and work as part of a dedicated team.A desire to gain classroom experience, with an interest in potentially pursuing a career in teaching.If you are interested in applying for this role, please send your CV.
