We are working with an internationally renowned manufacturer to recruit a night shift Maintenance and Service Engineer for their production site near St Austell. This company is the largest of its kind in Europe, so are a market leader in their field. This role will be working 12 hour night shifts Sunday to Tuesday and every second Saturday, with an average of 42 hours per week. You would be responsible for repairs and maintenance of all production related equipment, including breakdown repairs and continuous improvement project/task work, ordering of spares and general site facility tasks

The successful candidate must have:

  • A recognised industrial Electrical or mechanical qualification. As well as training and qualification to IEE 18th/19th edition preferred for the electrician role.
  • Experience working on drives and PCB s.
  • Specific training where required will be provided, OEM suppliers and via remote modem diagnostic support from the OEM.
  • Competent to operate a lathe.
  • MIG/TIG welding skills preferable although not essential.
  • Have good communication, organisational and team work skills. Self-motivation, ability to apply initiative and determined.
