We are currently recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join the company and manage a long term RC Frame and Groundworks project based in East Sussex.

We will consider QS's of all seniority i.e. QS, Senior QS, Commercial Manager.

My client has continuous work and long term additional projects.

RATES ARE NEGOTIABLE

THIS IS FOR AN IMMEDIATE START

Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:

  • Compliance with and assistance in helping promote the Health and Safety policy.
  • Assistance with the procurement of Sub-Contractors
  • Contribution to the analysis of Sub-Contractors; Consultants and Suppliers tender returns.
  • In accordance with company contractual arrangements, authorise payments in respect of interim and final applications for payment from Sub-Contractors, Consultants and Suppliers.
  • Preparation, co-ordination, and processing labour only payments.
  • Carry out building work take-offs, measurement and scheduling exercises and preparation of bills of quantities for the procurement and sub-letting processes.

Quantity Surveyor Requirements:

  • An understanding of RC Frame and Groundworks is preferred, to enable you to integrate within the company.
  • Experience in the construction and commercial environment, with a good level of client facing skill and ability.
  • Ability to prepare cashflow forecasts, manage cashflow, preparation of sub contract orders, preparation of monthly valuation, management of contract notices etc.
  • Competent in the job cost management from order to end of life.
