Join us for an exciting opportunity as an Operational Analyst In this pivotal role within the Portfolio Analytics and Execution Department at Intrum UK, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of customer data, manage internal data, and oversee various operational systems and processes. You will lead by example, ensuring that key business processes related to external data collection are completed on schedule and meet quality standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with external servicing partners and internal customers to achieve shared goals.

You will be based in our Manchester office with a blend of home working.

What you will do:

  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.

  • DCA (Debt Collection Agency) reporting such as the management of file transfers between DCAs and CRAs (Credit Rating Agencies).

  • Reconciliation of financial information and Ad-hoc reporting and analytics.

  • Management of file exchanges with external servicing partners and internal systems.

  • Management of "work queues" for various operational systems.

  • Customer account placements (and recalls) with external servicing partners.

  • Devoted to the FCA principle of Consumer Duty, by ensuring we are driving good customer outcomes across all aspects of services that have potential to impact our customers.

What we're looking for:

  • Good understanding of customer needs and a demonstrable desire to resolve issues.

  • Previous entry-level experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or BI Analyst with a desire to grow in this field.

  • Good database skills.

  • Experience with programming languages (ideally SQL)

  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE A-C/9-5 equivalent).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, with the ability to support process improvements.
