Machine Operator - 24,901.50 plus shift allowance ( 3510 per annum) - Double days - Permanent - Avonmouth, Bristol - Benefits include 33 days holiday, Pension, Bonus, Life Assurance.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Machine Operator to join an expanding manufacturing company based in Avonmouth. Our client are going through a period of growth and are looking to add to their team. Reporting to the Production Manager, this role would suit someone who has previously worked in an engineering environment and has a basic understanding of engineering drawings.

Duties of the Machine Operator will include:

  • Following drawings and work orders to cut materials to size and thickness
  • Checking materials and carrying out quality checks
  • Inspecting first off, using tape, micrometers and calliper instruments
  • Stamping and labelling finished goods
  • Using FLT and some warehouse duties

The successful candidate will have previous machine operating experience and ideally have worked with metal parts and materials. You will be able to work from drawings and follow work instructions, as well as checking finished goods. In addition you will have good IT skills and enjoy working as part of a team in a fast paced, busy environment.

24,901.50 per hour plus shift allowance ( 3510 per annum)

Permanent position

Avonmouth, Bristol

Double day shift pattern - 6am to 2pm (Mon to Fri) & 2pm to 11.30 (Mon to Thurs)

Benefits include 33 days holiday, Pension, Life Assurance, Onsite parking, Bonus
