An opportunity has arisen for an person to join an entrepreneurial, Telecoms business as they look to hire a Senior Financial Accountant. The organisation are one of the largest operators with have a strong growth plan and you will play a pivotal role in the finance department.
We are looking for someone to be hands on as they manage the management and statutory reporting as well as being a key player in enhancing processes and setting out best practice for colleagues and the team.
To successfully deliver in the profile position, you will need to have:
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA)Experience in preparing group statutory accountsExperience in producing management reportsGood knowledge of IFRS and FRS 102Experience in leading on external auditsHands on approachStrong excel and systems skills
A little more information about the role:
Lead on the group’s financial reporting requirements, including cash flow forecast, balance sheet reconciliations and group consolidationsEnsure timely preparation and completely of statutory accountsFull ownership of the month end processManage the relationship with the auditors and any other third party suppliersSupporting with the annual budget and quarterly reforecastsDesign, document and implement internal controls and processes
