The School and Role

This large and welcoming, two-form entry school in Croxteth, Liverpool, are looking for a nurturing and passionate teaching assistant to work in a reception class on a full-time basis.  The role will start immediately and will be ongoing, with a view of becoming permanent should the candidate be the right fit for the school.  The successful candidate must have experience working with phonics.  The school offers a welcoming and joyous environment and encourage children to become confident, independent young pople who are able to meet the ever changing demands of life in the 21st century.  They believe that the development of the whole person is essential to education, so a varied programme of extra curricular activities and a strong emphasis on personal development serve to ensure that each child reaches their potential.  The school offers a wide range of before and after school clubs and has progressed greatly since becoming part of the Rainbow Trust in 2019.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

-          Experience of working with primary school aged children

-          A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
