We’re looking for someone who excels at building strong rapport with clients, can champion further growth for the audit function, and is passionate about nurturing talent through constructive mentorship.

We’re seeing an experienced manager, ACA or ACCA qualified with previous experience leading a significant audit portfolio, as well as demonstrable skills in overseeing the performance and development of a team. You’ll have excellent communications skills, sound technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to problem solving.

With a strong commercial understanding, you’ll be motivated to scope new business opportunities through building a network of prospective clients, as well as scoping new service lines for your existing portfolio.

Job Purpose
Lead the delivery of audit engagements to a portfolio of large, high value clients across a broad range of business sectors.Oversee the recruitment, performance and learning and development of the audit team, reviewing work and providing constructive mentorship.Work closely with the Audit Partner to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met.Support the firm’s business growth by maintaining relationships with key contacts and building a prospective network.Deliver strong technical knowledge and keep up to date with legislation and statutory requirements.Identify services that will add value to your portfolio of clients.Review internal processes and providing recommendations to improve efficiencies across the Audit function.Set an example for the team as a natural leader.

ACA or ACCA qualified with experience managing audit clientsPrevious supervisory experience at a managerial level, with good people management skillsStrong communication skills are essential, both verbal and writtenSelf-motivated and reliableA drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the teamConfident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiencyNetworking and relationship building skillsFirst class organisational, multi-tasking and delegation skillsCommercially minded with the ability to confidently seek new business opportunities.
