To maintain the high standards of cleanliness of The Lygon Arms throughout the hotel public areas and bedrooms.
Responsibilities of the Public Area Cleaner / Housekeeping Assistant:
Take pride in maintaining the cleanliness of our public areas and bedrooms to the hotel's 5 star standards To check public areas regularly ensuring standards of cleanliness set by the Head Housekeeper are met To be passionate and confident conversing with our guests, creating a visit to remember To complete tasks as delegated by the Head Housekeeper and work according to the extra cleaning list understanding flexibility and teamwork To be able to work alone as well as part of the team in a busy yet flexible operation To take ownership in completing tasks set by the management team in a timely manner, and report any faults or breakages to the relevant department To take pride in your appearance and demeanour at work at all times To be confident and intuitive when using cleaning materials and equipmentPublic Area Cleaner / Housekeeping Assistant - About you
Experience in housekeeping or professional cleaning is desirable A positive, welcoming attitude and good communication skills Fluent in English both verbally and written Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service Excellent personal presentation standards Ability to work effectively and positively as part of a team Availability to work week days and weekends (on rota basis)-
