Role Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Support Living Assistant's to join our team in Preston. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with varying needs, helping them achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life through tailored assistance and encouragement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in thier own home with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering meaningful relationships that enhance their well-being.
- Encourage and assist clients in engaging in social and community activities, promoting a sense of belonging and purpose.
- Support clients in developing life skills and achieving personal goals, facilitating greater independence and self-esteem.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress, ensuring that each individual's unique needs are met.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of a client's well-being.
Qualifications:
- Previous UK care experience of 6 months or more is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., First Aid, CPR) are an advantage
