French & Spanish Teacher

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic French & Spanish Teacher seeking a rewarding opportunity in a supportive and achieving school environment? This mixed comprehensive school is currently seeking a talented French & Spanish Teacher to join a stable and successful Modern Foreign Languages department. This position is available for September 2024 and will run until the end of the academic year.

Contract: Until end of academic year
Salary: £155 - £250

Role Overview: As a French & Spanish Teacher at this school, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective French & Spanish lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. You will have the opportunity to inspire a love for language learning and support students in achieving their full potential in French. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards and excellent results of this school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality French & Spanish lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, ensuring coverage of the national curriculum.
  • Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the Modern Foreign Languages department to share best practices and resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of student achievement, attendance, and behaviour.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching French & Spanish at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for language teaching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to the ethos and values of the school.
