Rate: £26.75/hour Umbrella, increasing to £32.32/hr Umbrella after 12 weeks (inside IR35)

Location: Halewood, Liverpool (occasional travel to Dunton, Essex) - based fully on site

12 month initial contract

As a Project Manager Assistant, you will support the Programme Leader / Programme Manager with the management of a project focusing on collecting information and reporting.

In your first few weeks in this role, you can expect to:

• Develop an understanding of all the aspects of an automotive project which must be tracked, gather information from the engineering teams that are implementing the project and then feed this information into the appropriate systems, reporting formats and documents.
• Support the presentations from the programme management team to various levels of management within the organisation
• Lead meetings with engineering teams to gather the required information, for example covering project funding, issue management and progress to timing plans
• Conduct project administration tasks such as setting up meetings and managing Sharepoints.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

• Project management/coordination experience with a focus on planning and management reporting
• Experience in a manufacturing environment - the projects run by this team are to install or retool manufacturing systems and, as such, are highly technical so an understanding of manufacturing systems is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint and MS SharePoint.
• Degree or appropriate experience.
