Job title: Logistics Operator

Location: RAF Lossiemouth - onsite only

Salary: £28,537+ (dependent on skills and experience)

What you'll be doing:

  • Processing asset demands at the appropriate priority and state as required
  • Day-to-day housekeeping to ensure assets are correctly identified and accounted for prior to issue out of TSF N logistics
  • Ensuring that paperwork is of a high standard before assets are returned into the reverse supply chain avoiding rework where possible
  • Ensuring that when spares are issued from TSF N they are in the correct container to ensure they are transported safely including ordering suitable containers should it be required
  • The ability to utilise station vehicles to move assets around station should that be required

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Ensure that output meets the defined business needs in terms of quantity, quality and schedule
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office
  • Holds a current UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • Competent use of the RAF Logistics Management of the Joint Deployed Inventory (MJDI) system
  • Awareness and knowledge of Mil Pt145 / Pt M regulations
  • Typhoon experience
  • A wider appreciation of logistics operations within a military environment
  • Awareness of MAOS145 and KR640

Typhoon Support Flight North (TSF N):

A challenging and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Operator in the TSF N Team, maintaining critical support at the agreed level and location, delivering support to aircraft maintenance activities particularly in the provision of aircraft spares

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate both formally and informally at all levels. You will also ensure that the output meets the defined business needs by displaying good time management, proactiveness and being a strong team player
