Alecto Recruitment is thrilled to present an excellent opportunity for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a prestigious main dealer located in Aylesbury. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is passionate about the automotive industry and eager to contribute to a dynamic team.

Position: Vehicle Technician

Location: Aylesbury

Working Hours:

  • 5-day working week (8-hour days)
  • 1 in 3 weekends required

Salary: 33,000 to 37,000 + Bonuses & Overtime

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic testing to identify vehicle faults.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on a range of vehicles to the highest standards.
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and accurately within dealership and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Carry out vehicle inspections and MOT tests (if qualified).
  • Maintain accurate records of all work carried out.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and industry trends.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a main dealer or independent garage.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair).
  • MOT Tester qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency with automotive systems and technology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Valid UK driving license.
