Purchase Ledger / Accounts Asistant - Woking

Our client works within the hospitality / leisure sector and they are looking for an Accounts Assistant (with a focus on Purchase Ledger) to join their busy team in Woking.

Your key duties will be:

  • Process all supplier invoices for payment
  • Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details;
  • Manage supplier invoicing and chasing overdue debt
  • Process expenses
  • Reconciliation of supplier balances;
  • Handling supplier accounts enquiries;
  • Preparing and processing payroll and pension journals

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Ideally AAT qualified
  • Previous recent purchase ledger / accounts assistant experience
  • An eye for detail and high level of accuracy;
  • Confident in using Sage - ideally Sage X3
  • Works well in fast-paced environment;
  • Can work well as part of a team.
  • Experience within the hospitality or leisure industrires preferred.
