Salary: £42,132

What you'll be doing:

  • Delivering defined work packages/tasks to cost/schedule/quality targets
  • Monitoring and reporting project/programme performance for schedule, technical, financial, and quality objectives
  • Leading problem-solving sessions to pro-actively overcome project issues and risks
  • Establishing and maintaining customer/supplier relationships maintaining regular communications & managing expectations
  • Taking responsibility for achieving customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring that work packages/tasks adhere to the Operational Framework and LCM Mandates
  • Supporting the creation of proposals for follow on tasks / work packages

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Experience in either Project Management or Engineering and knowledge of the PM lifecycle
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and to complete to schedule, cost, and quality

Desirable:

  • Formal training in Project Management/Programme Management
  • Experience of working in a safety-critical manufacturing environment

The Product Development team:

As a Project Professional, you'll have the chance to work on exciting development projects, managing a diverse array of small projects and work packages. Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and operations functions, you'll be at the heart of cutting-edge initiatives. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you'll engage with customers, showcasing your exceptional communication skills and understanding of how your contributions align with our Heavy Munitions objectives.
