This is a new role, established to oversee the implementation of the IT transformation strategy, which plans a shift towards cloud-based services. The Director of IT will work alongside the Foundation’s other Executive Directors and report into the Chief Finance and Operating Officer.

This is an exciting time to be joining our Multi Academy Trust, of three High Schools and a Sixth Form College, which collectively educates over 4,300 children, and employs over 450 professionals, as we begin to align technological services. IT services are currently delivered through a mix of managed services and in-house provision, part of the strategy is to harmonise the approach.

Each academy within the Foundation operates at the heart of its local community. The Foundation’s offices are based at Sir John Deane’s Sixth Form College which is a modern purpose-built campus set in beautiful grounds. The other Academies, The County High School, Leftwich; Middlewich High School and The Macclesfield Academy are all based within Cheshire.

To be successful in post you will be a credible and experienced IT leader, with a good mix of technical knowledge and experience of leading teams within a not-for profit environment.  You will be enthusiastic and strive for continuous improvement to contribute to the success of the Multi-Academy Trust which translates to outstanding outcomes for the children educated in all the Academies.
