As a Theatre Practitioner at our Taunton Hospital, you'll be registered with the appropriate governing body. You have the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. Plus, you bring post-registration experience, flexibility and excellent communication skills. You're also a great team worker.

As a Theatre Practitioner in Scrub, you will:

  • Be part of our close-knit multidisciplinary team

  • Work with leading consultants and like-minded professionals who respect and value what you bring

  • Enjoy a varied caseload with state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities

  • Supervise, support and develop junior members of staff

  • Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based

  • Interact well with colleagues on the ward, understanding that continuity in patient care is key

    Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital is one of the leading providers of private healthcare in the South West. With three new state of the art Ultra Clean Air operating theatres and an endoscopy suite we are proud of the wide range of surgical services and treatments available. The hospital has 41 private en-suite bedrooms split over 2 wards and 11 consulting rooms within our Outpatients Department.

    Our areas of specialty include orthopedics and spinal surgery, ophthalmology, dermatology, bariatric treatments and diagnostic imaging. Our most recent CQC inspection was undertaken in July 2016 and we were enormously proud to be rated overall as Good, with Outstanding for Well Led.
