Duties include:

Daily Boiler checksDaily electrical checks (distribution boards, visual emergency lights etc)Interior /external light bulbsFire alarm control panelsInspect and clean out external grease trapVisual checks on fire extinguishersFire doors and closers throughoutRoofs, gutters, drains, handrails, steps, walkways for slips trips &fall hazardsExternal housekeeping - tables, chairs, ashtrays, empty and remove broken glassGardens - cutting grass, pruning, keeping borders tidy etc.Planned maintenance - interior and external painting, grouting, silicone sealingOther unplanned repairsContractor liaison and engagement

Key Skills and Experience

Plumbing skills (repairing and replacing faulty taps, showers, waste pipes, traps and leaking pipework)Electrical skills (replacing faulty sockets, switches, lighting equipment, tuning TVs, replacing light bulbs, fault finding)Basic Joinery (replacing faulty handles, hinges, door locks, door closers, ensuring doors and windows open and close smoothly)Basic Painting (Ensure all walls and ceilings and woodwork throughout are kept freshly painted)Compliance (ladder checks, emergency light tests, fire alarm tests)Weekly Utility Readings (Gas, electric, water)Flexible, can-do approach
