The Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful and timely delivery of projects while fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment .
This position reports to the AI Sales Integration Manager and is part of the Data Science and AI Team located in Cambridge, UK, and will be on-sit e . At Abcam, our vision is to be the most influential life sciences company for researchers worldwide.
This role will initially be a 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
Coordinate stakeholders, facilitate collaboration, and manage dependencies.
Ensure alignment with business goals, success criteria, and maintain high-quality standards.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks , m onitor team capacity and performance , and maintain accurate progress and impact reports.
Foster a culture of achievement and continuous improvement, and positivity within the team.
The essential requirements of the job include:
BSc , MSc or equivalent experience in a field related to Business Management or Information Technology .
Strong e xperience in project and delivery management in an agile environment.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies .
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
A positive , open and inclusive mindset, with a commitment to fostering a collaborative , proactive , and productive work environment focused on progressing together .
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Commercial awareness and understanding of Sales and Marketing strategies.
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, M 365 tools, and Lucidchart .
Working in an AI or software development environment.
