We are excited to partner with a leading UK charity that specializes in supporting individuals with Acquired Brain Injuries, providing exceptional rehabilitation and hospitalised support. An opportunity has arisen to join their team at a new flagship service based in York.

About the Facility: This purpose-built independent hospital offers state-of-the-art facilities for neuropsychiatric and neurobehavioral assessment and rehabilitation. The centre is dedicated to delivering high-quality care for individuals following an acquired brain injury, including those with additional mental health and physical conditions.

Role Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Work in partnership with individuals living with acquired brain injuries to positively impact their lives.
  • Deliver high-quality, personalized care and support.
  • Act as a positive role model and collaborate effectively with others.
  • Contribute to an interdisciplinary team where every contribution is valued.
  • Participate in innovative, evidence-based service improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

  • Current professional registration with Nursing & Midwifery Council (RMHN/RNLD/RGN)
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible
  • Friendly, approachable manner with good interpersonal skills, demonstrating care and empathy
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Desirable:

  • Experience with acquired brain injury
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act & Mental Capacity Act
  • Recognized practice assessor/practice supervisor
  • Understanding of risk assessment and management within practice
  • Good IT and keyboard skills with experience using computerized record systems

Salary: £38,758.33 to £41,661.51
