This position as a Corporate Tax Manager involves overseeing tax operations, developing tax strategies, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations in the professional services industry. Based in Bristol, and working for one of the largest Corporate Tax teams in the profession. This role requires an individual with strong knowledge of UK (& European) tax laws and excellent leadership skills.

Description

  • Lead on a high value client base, building long lasting and meaningful client relationships
  • Develop and implement tax strategies that align with company goals.
  • Manage tax risk and ensure adherence to compliance obligations.
  • Conduct regular tax reviews and prepare reports.
  • Provide expert tax advice to clients.
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the tax department.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax agencies.

Profile

A successful Corporate Tax Manager should have:

  • Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CTA) along with 2 years PQE experience.
  • Demonstrable experience of working within an Accountancy Practice or Inhouse Tax position.
  • Strong knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
