Job Role: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Location: Lincoln
Start Date: Immeadiately can start if you really need the work
Salary: GBP85 - GBP95 per day
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent and also part-time is available to fit your schedule.

GSL Education is seeking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in Lincoln, to start immediately. You will provide cover for absent teachers, delivering pre-planned lessons and managing student behaviour, across the curriculum.

Level 3 Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Supervisor classes across the curriculum in the event of a teacher absence.
  • Ensure that pupils are engaging in pre-planned work.
  • Manage pupil behaviour to create a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Liaise with other staff members in regard to work being set and ensure you have all suitable resources.
  • Provide feedback to the class teacher on pupil attendance, engagement and completion of work tasks.

Level 3 Teaching Assistant Requirements:

  • Hold an NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher or be a Graduate considering a career in education.
  • Have knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies (training can be provided).
  • Have the ability and willingness to undertake additional training and courses to enhance your professional development.
  • Empathise with young people and have good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Have the ability to use your own initiative to work flexibly and be able to respond to different situations.
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for a new one. DBS sponsorship is available for this position.
