About Us
We are possibly the longest established veterinary practice in the heart of Wigan and we are still fully independent.
Here at Luc Van Dijck Veterinary Centre Ltd we are a small, friendly and effective team looking for an experienced small animal veterinary surgeon to join our family.
We have a long-standing, loyal client base for you to work with and foster as well as the opportunity to grow your own client base, with your great communication skills and customer service. Case continuity is strongly encouraged. You will have access to advice and support from our Senior Vet in practice
Ideally we are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to work 3 days a week from 8:30 till 18:30 holding consultations and minor surgeries daily. Due to us being fully independent we can be flexible for the right candidate.
The Role will be 1 of 2 Vets in practice, our team of nurses are highly trained to assist, and our reception team are great at triage which makes our veterinary practice a supportive place to work.
About You.
This position requires a reliable, responsible, and flexible individual. You must be RCVS registered, competent and confident, have excellent communication skills and the ability to perform routine surgical procedures. High standards of client and patient care are essential.
