Sidcup, United Kingdom Rose Bruford College Full time

17.5 hours per week / 52 weeks per year

An exciting role is available at Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance for a Research Support Administrator, this role emerges at a time when the College is growing its research capacity.

Working with the Research Office, the successful candidate supports work across all areas of research, including research-related events and communications support; finances, including processing expenses and raising purchase orders, and monitoring and following up on internal applications for funding.  The role is varied and involves supporting work across a range of the research office’s activities, including the College’s Research Excellence Framework preparations, Knowledge Exchange, the College repository for research publications, research ethics and external funding applications.

You will work with academic and professional staff across the College and external parties to support the development of research, impact and knowledge exchange. You will be a key point of contact for internal and external research enquiries, and in particular play a key role in supporting the costing of research applications.

This is an exciting time in the College’s research journey as we continue to develop our research capacity and culture. It will suit a person who is flexible and willing to work across a wide range of activities, who is well organised and has strong attention to detail. You will be working as part of a team but there will be times when you need to work on your own with a high level of independence.

The role is part time at 50%. There is flexibility as to the hours and days worked; we anticipate that this will be a hybrid role with some home-working and some time spent in the office on the campus at Sidcup.  For an informal conversation, please contact Nicola Sainsbury on nicola.sainsbury@bruford.ac.uk .

To apply, please send an expression of interest statement describing your interest in the role, what you will bring to the role and how you can meet, or develop into, the skills described in the Job Description together with a copy of your CV.  Please keep your expression of interest statement to no more than 750 words.

Completed applications should be emailed to recruitment@bruford.ac.uk by 12 Noon on 15 April 2024.

£25,083 to £28,892 per annum, pro rata to hours worked
