Wayman Education is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated English ECT to join a reputable secondary school in Bedford . The successful candidate will be passionate about education and have a proven track record of delivering excellent teaching across KS3, KS4 and KS5 (optional). Aside from that, the successful English ECT will work collaboratively with the school team to ensure all students receive a positive and engaging learning experience.

English ECT Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons that challenge and inspire secondary students to reach their full potentialMonitor and assess students' progress and keep regular records of secondary students' academic performanceCreate a positive learning environment that is both safe and conducive for learningCollaborate with school management, teaching staff and parents to provide quality academic support for Secondary studentsPrepare and participate in school-related activities such as performances, events, and parent/teacher meetingsAdhere to safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all childrenUse a variety of effective classroom management strategies to ensure an orderly and safe learning environment

English ECT Requirements:

QTS or equivalentDegree in relative field - A Subject of SpecialismA recognized qualification in teaching, preferably a Bachelor's degree in Education or any relevant fieldExcellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate learnersStrong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and studentsSound knowledge of the national curriculum and its application in classAbility to adapt teaching styles to facilitate different learning stylesA passion for teaching and making a difference in students' lives

The salary for this English ECT position will be paid to scale on a permanent contract following the MPS/UPS pay scale within the National pay scale.
