Role: Teacher of Physics - KS3-KS5
Start Date: September 2024
Contract: Permanent - 0.4 (potentially full-time)
Salary: MPS1-UPS3 (DOE) - suitable for ECTs

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential:
• Degree or equivalent qualification in relevant subject- Science (Physics)
• Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
• Demonstrate a commitment and enthusiasm for teaching
• Strong Scientific and IT skills
• Fluent in both verbal and written English
• Set high expectations for students
• Work as part of a team
• Take part in/lead extra-curricular activities
• Seek advice and support when necessary
• Excellent outcomes at GCSE in one of the Science areas
• In the classroom - student/classroom management skills
• The ability to deliver consistently good or better lessons
• Understanding the importance of quality written feedback to students
• The use of assessment data to identify underachievement and plan teaching and learning

Science Teacher / Science ECT - Physics Specialist - September 2024 - Braintree


For this position, you must have an Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
