We are assisting our client seek a talented and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their dynamic team based in the heart of Manchester. You will play a key role in leading and delivering high-profile projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute their expertise and make a significant impact on the built landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the structural engineering design process from concept to completion.
  • Undertake detailed structural analysis and design for a variety of projects.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural integrity and address construction-related challenges.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, standards, and advancements in structural engineering.

Job Requirements/Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years design experience on building structures projects in UK.
  • Varied experience in all the common forms of construction and building types.
  • Chartered or near Chartered status (MICE or MIStructE).
  • Experience in the use of Eurocodes.
  • Excellent report writing, communication and numerical skills required.
  • Experience of structural analysis design and software essential.
  • MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering - or equivalent.
