Responsibilities:

As a Caretaker at our Secondary School in North London, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities to ensure the school runs smoothly and safely. Your tasks will include:

3. Cleaning: Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met in classrooms, corridors, restrooms, and communal areas.

4. Health and Safety: Implementing health and safety protocols, including fire drills and emergency procedures, and reporting any hazards or incidents promptly.

5. Grounds keeping: Basic grounds maintenance, including litter picking, gardening, and snow clearing as needed.

6. Supervision: Overseeing and coordinating external contractors for larger maintenance projects when necessary.

7. Inventory Management: Keeping an inventory of cleaning supplies and maintenance equipment, and ordering replacements as needed.

8. Team Collaboration: Collaborating with school staff and management to address maintenance and safety concerns promptly.
