About the Role:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be working within a well-established General Practice team. You will work in a supportive environment with exposure to a wide range of high-quality accounting, financial and business services to both companies and individuals.
Key
Responsibilities:
Managing a portfolio of clientsPreparation and submission of year-end accounts to HMRC and Companies House for Sole Traders, Limited Companies and PartnershipsPreparation and submission of Corporation Tax ComputationsPreparation and submission of quarterly VAT ReturnsPreparation and submission of Confirmation StatementsReconcile client accounting records via Excel or accounting software.Client Payroll; weekly, monthly, and yearlyPreparation and submission of monthly CIS returns.Managing and mentoring junior members of the team.
About You:
Qualified Accountant with General Practice experienceExperience in managing and mentoring junior members of a practice team.Competent user of accounting software such as Xero, Sage and QuickBooks.Knowledge of professional regulations and best practice.Be passionate about customers and service, with a strong will to make a difference.To be self-motivated, prioritising and multitasking effectively.Must have a high level of attention to detail.Must be able to adapt quickly to changing business requirements
