Job Title:
Accounting Assistant

Salary £13.10 per hour

Position. Temp for a minimum of 1 month

Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis (3 days a week). Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays with the possibility of Working from home other days.

The ideal candidate will have AAT Level 2 or 3 qualifications, although this is not mandatory. This position offers an opportunity to support our accounting department in various tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of our organization.



Responsibilities:

Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, invoicing, and accounts payable/receivable.Prepare financial documents and reports for review by senior staff.Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial records.Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents and records.Collaborate with team members to support departmental goals and initiatives.
Requirements:
AAT Level 2 or 3 qualifications preferred.Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is desirable.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Working Conditions:
The position is part-time, 3 days a week.Free Onsite ParkingFlexible working hours may be available.
