This national consultancy offers its clients full advisory services through its Project Management, Cost Consultancy and Building Surveying services so previous experience working within a similar multi-disciplinary practice would be ideal. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects including residential, commercial, retail, leisure, historical, industrial and the public sector. 

The key responsibilities will include: 

•    Assisting preparation and submitting applications for Planning and Building Control consents.
•    Carry out surveys, inspections, schedules, provide professional services and the management of schemes.
•    Experience of defect analysis, undertaking building surveys and producing professional reports.
•    Due Diligence surveys.
•    Dilapidations, including the preparation of schedules and recording schedules of condition.
•    Planned Maintenance Surveys.
•    Understand the principles of quality, safety and the environment within the management of projects.
•    Measured surveys including the preparation of drawings in AutoCAD.

Requirements: 

•    Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Building Surveyor. 
•    BSc in Building Surveyor or equivalent. 
•    A full driving licence and prepared to travel as required.
•    Strong IT skills, Word, Excel and MS Project as minimum.
•    Good AutoCAD skills.
