Insight Investment is looking for a Developer to join the Individual Retirement Solutions team in Manchester. As a full-stack developer, you will work alongside the existing team to deliver software that allows financial advisors to implement Insight’s Retirement Pathway solution.

Role Responsibilities

Contribute to the technology efforts for the Individual Retirement Solutions team, an internal start-up that is responsible for building the future of the companyCurrent priority: build and launch v1.0 of the Retirement Pathway app, a consumer-grade software solution for independent Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) in the U.S.Front-end for financial advisors to help their clients (React)Back-end .NET API and database that represent existing investment logic developed by InsightIntegrations with third-party financial advisor tools (custodians, financial planning tools, trading/rebalancing systems, etc.)Data integrations (bi-directional)Single sign on (SSO) integrationWork closely with other members of the Individual Retirement Solutions team to understand the logic and rationale behind the Retirement PathwayBe responsible for all technology aspects of the app, including future enhancementsParticipate and contribute to the go-to-market strategy for this new business lineContribute to all future releases, apps and other technology development with the team

Experience Required

Experience working on consumer facing web applicationsC# and .NETPythonCI/CD pipelines with TeamCityFundamentals and approaches: OOP, SOLID principles, TDD/BDD/ATDDDVCS with GitStand by software engineering principles around quality and doing things the right wayExperience with agile / similar iterative development processesTakes initiative and ownership over outcomesAbility to collaborate with existing technology teams, while delivering outcomes for internal ‘startup’Intellectual curiosity and constant desire to improve both technical and domain knowledge
