We are currently working with a globally recognised organisation who are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk on a temporary basis.

The role is a full-time, fully office based position requiring travel to their Black Country office.

Our client is looking for candidates with experience working in a fast-paced environment who is confident performing supplier statement reconciliations.Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Accurate and timely provision of purchase ledger duties and accounts functions
  • Inputting invoice details and orders and match against purchase order documentation
  • Statement reconciliations and weekly supplier payment runs
  • Taking supplier queries by telephone and investigating and resolving or referring where necessary
  • Maintaining specified projects and ongoing tasks as led by the Finance Manager

Experience required:

  • Experience analysing large amounts of data
  • Experience with supplier statement reconciliations

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Computer literacy (specifically with Microsoft Excel)
  • Excellent communication skills and confident building relationships
  • Happy to adapt and problem solve

Working hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday 9am-5.30pm (flexible)
