Job Title:
Finance Assistant

Hours: Mon - Fri 8:30am - 5:30pm



Salary:
£25k - £28k depending on experience, plus benefits

CCR are seeking an Accounts professional to join a fast-growing IT support company with a portfolio of large blue-chip clients. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining financial control within a dynamic and vibrant workspace. The role will involve keeping accurate records of the company’s order book and accounts aiding the Management Team to make effective strategic decisions about the company’s growth and direction.

Key Responsibilities
Maintenance of the Company’s Sales and Purchase LedgersMaintenance of the Company’s Sales Order daybook.Providing an effective Credit Control functionProviding necessary reconciliations (e.g. bank/credit card) and payment run informationProvide prompt and accurate client invoices and deal with incoming AR/AP queriesMaintain the Company’s ISO Standard Operating Procedures for Accounts and ensure complianceAn Accountancy qualification (ACCA Level 3 or higher) would be a distinct advantage.Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts Professional essentialExcel knowledge to an intermediate level would be an advantagePrevious experience of working with a factoring company would be advantageous.Ability to think strategically and be proactive when spotting potential problemsExperience of communicating clearly, with the ability to adapt your communication style for different groupsThe ability to use MS Office and other relevant IT systems as appropriate for the role.Significant experience of managing and prioritizing a high workload and multiple complex issues and tasks in a changing environment with tight deadlinesUnderstands sound business practice and when to involve senior management in issues.Takes responsibility for delivering on actions, achieving high-standards, and learning from mistakesThinks proactively anticipates issues and develops plans to eliminate them.
