40 hours per week, working on the day shift. Starting at 10am and finishing at 6pm on a Monday to Friday basis. Flexibility required to work outside of these hours and cover other shifts to suit business needs.

Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company (CMBC) is one of the leading, historic brewers in the UK. Formed out of a joint venture between Carlsberg UK and Marston’s PLC, we combine over 300 years of shared values, history, and heritage in UK brewing.
This is an exciting opportunity to join CMBC Bedford, as we expand to a NEW site after procuring new accounts and strengthening our logistics network. We are now recruiting for a Warehouse Yard Operative to join us on our late shift. Reporting to the Warehouse Shift Manager, this role will be responsible for:
Key Accountabilities:
- Oversee all unloading and loading operations in the yard, including both CMBC and third-party vehicles for collections and deliveries.
- Using an FLT to load and unload drays.
- Using safe manual handling techniques when loading drays.
- Holding health and safety at the forefront of all procedures.
- Organisation of the yard, complying to all site and health and safety regulations.
- Facilitate customer collections.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Current and valid FLT Licence
- Experience of vehicle and stock yard management
- Experience working within a warehouse for an FMCG
- Customer Service
- Manual Handling
