Job Role

  • Installing drainage and pipework
  • Deep drainage duties
  • Asbuilt drawings
  • Establish safe working cultures and practices
  • Setting out, Levelling and surveying the site
  • Ensuring the plans, drawings and quantities are accurate for calculations
  • Managing the design documents supplied by the client
  • Ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with specification.
  • Operate and promote a high standard of health and safety and environment.
  • Plan and schedule the work and efficiently organise the site in order to meet an agreed programme of deadlines.
  • Liaise and attend regular meetings with the Sub Agent/ Site Agent to update on progress of works.
  • Read and understand construction and other drawings, specifications and other technical information.
  • Work collaboratively with the client and wider project delivery team
  • Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time.

Candidate requirements

  • 5+ years' experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering industry
  • Must have valid and relevant SSSTS or SMSTS.
  • Must have valid and relevant CSCS.
  • Bsc Civil Engineering or Equivalent
  • Temporary Works ideal but not essential
